Lisa Kauffman grew up in Connecticut and remembers the day her school principal called her out of math class. Stepping into
the school hallway, Lisa was introduced to Ruth Sanderson, the new illustrator for the first Nancy Drew paperbacks. Lisa posed as
Nancy Drew for The Triple Hoax and The Flying Saucer Mystery while some of her friends posed as other characters.
In May 2013, using an old newspaper article dated November 2, 1979, from Meridan, CT detailing the "new" Nancy Drew
and today's internet, I was able to locate Lisa Kauffman. After several e-mails and phone calls, I found
that she had moved less than 25 miles from me. We met shortly afterwards. Below are some cool photos of Lisa.
